Rules & Policies

Here at Mile 77 Cottages we try to be as accommodating as possible; however, we still have some rules for everyone to follow to keep your stay respectful and fun for everyone involved; whether that be past, present, or future guests.

Things to keep in mind before you arrive and while you stay with us:

General Property Rules:

  1. Our properties are NOT party properties. While we want you to have fun please keep things respectful and be mindful of your surroundings.
  2. These are SHARED properties. Both the Owners and our second cottage are all on the same site but everyone should be as mindful of privacy as possible.
  3. The waterfront is SHARED and for everyone's enjoyment. Please do not try to monopolize the beach or the wharf; they should be enjoyed by all.
  4. Life jackets save lives and are REQUIRED to be worn at all times when using our water toys.
  5. Visitors ARE allowed but we ask you limit it to 1 or 2. There is plenty of parking for boats, trailers and vehicles but anyone staying overnight should be registered as a guest and paid for.

  6. Pets ARE allowed. Please read through the pet section below and make sure we are notified of all animals before arriving.

Cottage Rules:

  1. YOU are responsible for keeping your cottage clean during your stay.
  2. YOU are responsible for any special requirements that need to be met.
  3. WE supply breakfast (waffles and maker)
  4. WE supply coffee/tea/hot chocolate/bottled water/etc
  5. WE supply propane for the gas fire table and BBQ
  6. Hot tubs are for registered guests ONLY and all CHILDREN under 14 MUST be supervised by an adult THIS IS NOT A SWIMMING POOL OR A TOY you will be held responsible for any damages.
  7. The hot tub must ALWAYS have water above the jets! please if you notice a low water level immediately report it to the property owner(s) so it can be filled immediately, if not this can cause significant damage.
  8. Check-Out Time is 11 am, please note that the check-out time of 11 am is very important for our cleaning crew to thoroughly clean for the next arriving guests.

Pet Rules and Considerations:

  1. YOU are 100% RESPONSIBLE as the owner of your animal(s) and will be held responsible for their actions. NO EXCEPTIONS.
  2. YOU will be responsible for the cost of any damage caused by your animal(s).
  3. YOU are REQUIRED to pick up after your animal(s).
  4. Absolutely NO animal(s) on furniture, beds, chairs, or couches.
  5. NEVER leave your pet unattended. This means no locking your animal(s) in the cottage while you are away.

Liability Waiver for ALL Mile 77 cottages guests:

You and your guests are responsible for any lost Items and any damage to property. You understand that swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, peddle boating and the use of any water device(s) is dangerous and is done at your own risk. You understand that special risks may arise. You accept full responsibility for any bodily injury arising from swimming, and hold owner of kayaks, paddle boards, peddle boat, all water devices harmless. You understand there are potential dangers that swimming, kayaks, paddle boards, peddle boat, water devices may present to children who are not carefully supervised, as well as the danger to any person swimming, kayaks, paddle boards, peddle boat if a person has health risks, or if a person swims, kayaks, paddle boards, peddle boat while intoxicated or using any kind of drugs or medication, or while pregnant. You agree to be fully and solely responsible for any accidents you may incur. You understand the risks discussed above and agree that you will assume all responsibility for yourself and for the consequences of those in your party. You agree to waive any claim whatsoever against owner/s of Mile 77 Cottages for accidents or claims arising from swimming, kayaks, paddle boards, peddle boat and all water devices.

All Airbnb/All Guests in my party acknowledge and accept that they have read and understand this waiver, and they acknowledge that by completing your booking with at Mile 77 Cottages constitutes a binding and enforceable contract between Airbnb/All Guests and your Airbnb Host(s).

By registering for a stay at Mile 77 cottages you agree that you will do your best to adhere to the rules, policies, terms, and conditions we have set for the priviledge of staying with us.

If you wish to stay with us but believe you may not be able to follow one or more of our policies, please contact us and let us know. we will try to accommodate those who reach out as best we can.

These rules are in place for a reason and we ask that those who would be willing to break any of the rules or who would be unable to adhere to them not register a stay.

If you are found to be willingly breaking any of the rules we have set out you will be subject to the consequences, whether that be a monetary fine or eviction from the property.
